PROSTEJOV, Czech Republic - Texas Army National Guard Special Forces Soldiers attend a ceremony in Prostejov, Oct. 25, 2019 hosted by their State Partner, Czech Republic. The ceremony recognized Texas Guardsmen assigned to the Army's 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) for their efforts supporting their Czech Allies during a recent combat deployment to Afghanistan as part of Operation Resolute Support. The Texas Military Department and the Czech Republic have participated in the U.S. Department of State’s Partnership Program cooperation since 1993 with the Nebraska National Guard, in support of the U.S. European Command Theater Security Cooperation Strategy.
