CAMP WILLIAMS, Utah –
CAMP WILLIAMS, Utah —Eagle Mountain Fire Department, Unified Fire Authority responded to a fire at Camp Williams that started downrange at approximately 11 a.m, Nov. 18, 2019. The fire danger was low at the time the fire started. By 1 p.m., the fire had burned approximately 7 acres, with fire breaks holding and only a few active flames. UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters from the 2-211th Aviation Regiment were on standby with 600-gallon buckets in case the fire spread.
