The Utah National Guard will host the 67^th annual Veterans Day Concert. This free and open-to-the-public concert will be held at the Tabernacle on Temple Square, beginning at 7 p.m., Nov. 11, 2022.

This Veterans Day Concert will commemorate the Korean War, “Remembering the Forgotten War.” Retired Senior Master Sgt. Sterling Poulson, master of ceremonies, will highlight music performances by the Utah National Guard's 23^rd Army Band, led by Chief Warrant Officer 4 Denny Saunders, and the combined Granite School District high school choir.

“We are excited to resume in-person attendance for this year’s Veterans Day concert, which has been a long-standing tradition in Utah,” said Maj. Gen. Michael Turley, adjutant general, Utah National Guard. “The purpose of this concert is to honor all veterans, who have proudly answered the call to serve our state and nation.”

During the concert, Brig. Gen. Kurt Davis, director of joint staff, Utah National Guard, will provide remarks to honor veterans and highlight the support given by Utah service members during the Korean War.

The winners of the state-wide Utah PTA and Utah National Guard essay contest and the recipient of the Zions Bank Veterans Service Award will be announced and recognized during the concert.

Veterans, families, and children of all ages are encouraged to attend this fun evening where some of the music will reflect on the 1950-53 era. Attendees should arrive early as seating inside the Tabernacle is limited and overflow seating will not be available. For those who cannot attend the event in person, the concert will be live streamed on the Utah National Guard Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/utahnationalguard/.
