Federal Mission:  Provide aerial command and control (C2) support, limited air assault, and air movement.

State Directed Mission: The 2-211th General Support Aviation Battalion provides multifaceted statewide aviation support to National Guard, DoD, and civil authorities in support of emergency relief efforts and homeland security operations.
