1457th Engineer Battalion:
Federal Mission: To increase the combat effectiveness of the support brigades or engineer brigades at division/corps level by accomplishing mobility, counter-mobility, survivability and general engineering tasks. Provides command and control to plan, integrate and direct execution of three to five engineer companies and a forward support company to provide mobility in support of force application or focused logistics.
State Mission: Execute all assigned engineer and domestic incident-response missions during state emergency and contingency operations by providing engineer force packages for mission command, transportation, fueling and maintenance, search and extraction, and construction and heavy equipment operation.
1457th Fire Support Company:
Federal Mission: To provide direct and habitual combat sustainment support to the Engineer Battalion in the Engineer Brigade.
State Mission: Execute all assigned engineer and domestic incident-response missions during state emergency and contingency operations by providing Engineer force packages for mission command, light transportation and fueling, search and extraction, and wild-land fire suppression
