Members of 145th Field Artillery provide a cannon salute to start Stadium of Fire celebrations

PROVO, Utah - Members of the Utah National Guard, the 145th Field Artillery Battalion, were proud to help start the Fourth of July weekend with a bang by providing a cannon salute to start Stadium of Fire celebrations, July 1, 2023, in Provo, Utah, at LaVell Edwards Stadium on the Brigham Young University campus. The event kicked off with a combined color guard that included Army, Marines, Air Force, along with fire department and law enforcement color guards, a flyover of F-35 fighter jets, and the firing of the three 75mm howitzers rounds, The prolific band, Journey, was the main attraction and performed many of their famous hits.
