JOIN THE TEAM

The National Guard dates back to 1636, when citizens formed militias to defend their communities and country. For almost 400 years, the Guard has stayed true to its roots. When you join the Guard, you become part of that legacy. Today, there are over 7,000 Soldiers and Airmen serving in the Utah National Guard. We have two branches of service: Army and Air Force. Unlike other branches, our Commander and Chief is the Governor of Utah, Gary R. Herbert. Click either link below to learn more.
