A small group of Soldiers from the 1993rd Contingency Contracting Team will hold a departure ceremony June 5, 2020 in the auditorium at the Utah National Guard’s Draper headquarters, ahead of their deployment to the U.S. Central Command area of operations.

The 1993rd Contingency Contracting team will mobilize to U.S. CENTCOM to support the contracting and acquisitions operations of the 408th Contracting Support Brigade. “My team has been training and preparing for more than two years for this mission to support the warfighter through all aspects of acquisition and contract management,” said Maj. Earl Simmons, team leader. “I feel honored to lead such a highly qualified team.”
